El Municipio y la Liga del Sur trabajan en un proyecto para construir espacios de futsal, fútbol playa y fútbol 5 en instalaciones del Polideportivo Norte, Vieytes 2700.
La iniciativa, también contempla el reacondicionamiento de la cancha de fútbol 11 destinada a las selecciones formativas y al fútbol femenino.
El intendente Héctor Gay y el subsecretario de Deportes, Bernardo Stortoni, recibieron al presidente de la Liga del Sur, Gustavo Lari, para diagramar un esquema de trabajo y formalizar próximamente un convenio.
En la reunión también estuvieron presentes Sebastián Barisone, vicepresidente del Departamento de Futsal y Horacio Gómez, integrante del mismo.
